Pierre and Christine are traveling across Switzerland by train. 

Christine: Would you believe it! My camera’s memory is already full again. 

Pierre: Too bad! The scenery here is splendid.1 You could have snapped some great pictures.

Christine: I’m glad we booked our seats on the Chocolate Train. 

Pierre: Yeah, we could have taken the Golden Pass Line for the same price. But, how often do you get a chance to see a real-life chocolate factory? 

Christine: Exactly, not to mention all the other great sights. I was dazzled2 by the medieval towns. 

Pierre: Yeah, they were great. We are really seeing the spirit of Switzerland. 

Christine: The Swiss people we’ve met have all been really friendly. 

Pierre: I know. A lot of the locals I spoke to also prefer traveling by train. 

Christine: I’m not surprised. The Swiss rail network is the most punctual3 in Europe.

Pierre: They also offer a lot of flexibility4 and freedom to travelers. You can get almost anywhere in Switzerland by using the train.

Christine: And it is supposed to get even better! We’ll have to see if the plans for a nation-wide underground system of trains get the go-ahead. 

Pierre: That sounds like something out of a sci-fi movie. But it sure would be impressive!5
